Lorine Valenta, 84, of Temple, died Sunday, August 9, 2015, A funeral mass was celebrated August 13, at Saint Luke's Catholic Church. Lorine was born February 20, 1931, to parents, George and Louise Zurovetz. On November 24, 1949, she married Frank Joseph Valenta and continued to stay married for 64 years until her death. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, George Zurovetz, Dan Zurovetz, and Albina Naizer. She is survived by husband, Frank Valenta; sons, Don Valenta and wife Sherri of Troy, James Valenta of Houston, Tom Valenta and wife Carla of Temple; many grandsons and three great grandchildren; twin sister, Bernice McGrody of California; brother, August "Boots', and wife, Roseanne, of El Paso. Burial information was not furnished.
