Stephanie Straatmann (nee' Kimminau), 98, of St. Louis, MO passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023. She is survived by six children: Barbara Heise and husband Ron of St. Louis, Phyllis Straatmann and husband Tim Brown of St. Louis, Kathy Straatmann of St. Louis, Hal Straatmann of Colorado, Stephen Straatmann of Colorado, Chris Straatmann and wife Sandy of Clover Bottom, MO; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Fr. Ireneaus Kimminau, OFM of Quincy, IL; one sister, Agnes Piontek of Washington, MO; sisters-in-law: Pat Kimminau of Washington, MO, Dorothy Straatmann of Villa Ridge, MO, and Mary Straatmann of Labadie, MO; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at St. John the Baptist-Gildehaus Catholic Church in Villa Ridge, MO with Rev. Nick Winker officiating. Interment will be held privately in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. Visitation for 98-year-old Stephanie Straatmann will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington, MO. A parish rosary will be prayed at 3:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
