Gravesite details

When photographing the cemetery in August 2023, I did not find a headstone for Francis Herbert. He shares a plot (Block C, Lot 16) with Martha Herbert, Mary Herbert, Melchior Herbert, Anna Elliott and Paul Elliott.. I believe this is a cenotaph.

Bio

Body was lost in Lake Crescent, near Oshkosh, NE where he had gone with friends to hunt ducks. The body was recovered in June 1927.
