Bio

William Barton Jaynes came to Texas from South Carolina on an ox cart when he was six years old, and lived in Bosque County 70 years. It was said at the time he was one of the county's oldest citizens. William married Lula Frances Gibbons 11 Jun 1891 in Bosque County, Texas, and they had seven children: Nellie Rayl, Nara Mattie, Robert Bruce "Bob", C.B., twins Claude and Maud, and Nancy Ann. - Information by Gloria Jaynes
