Preceded in death by his parents Laddie and Helen Vondra, infant sister Mary Ann, brother-in-law Richard Pollack, son-in-law Matthew Donohoe Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Sharon, daughter Jamie (Woody) Gaughen. Vondra passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the age of 80 years. Jim was a charter member of St Bernadette and was very active in the church. He coached little league baseball, worked bingo and the festivals, and taught Sunday school. He drew up plans on numerous occasions for various parish building projects. Jim had an hour of adoration. He truly loved the Lord and the church Jim was preceded in death by his parents Laddie and Helen Vondra; infant sister Mary Ann; brother-in-law Richard Pollack; and son-in-law Matthew Donohoe. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sharon; daughter Jamie (Woody) Gaughenbaugh, of Upton, WY; son Timothy (Theresa), of Plattsmouth, NE; grandchildren Toni, James, and Shannon Donohoe, Skyler and Ellie Vondra, Collin and Chase Gaughenbaugh sister-in-law Judy Pollack, of Omaha, and Carol (Karry) Johnson, of Omaha; 4 nieces and a nephew. ****Many thanks to my God, and to all the people that were praying for us.
