Bio
Enoch Smith, 83, of Bryan passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007, in the presence of his family. Enoch was a lifelong resident of Bryan and owned Enoch Smith Farm and Ranch Real Estate for over 30 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Enoch was a compassionate, loving and honorable man who was loved and admired by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 47 years, Elsie Denk Smith. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Sue Smith of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Patrick Ellis of Farmington, N.M.; granddaughters, Shannon Waite and husband, Sam, of Las Cruces, N.M.and Melissa Polzin and husband, Kreg, of Farmington, N.M.; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Carrie McDonald of Bryan and Mildred Steger and husband, Bob, of Brownwood; nephew, Wally Smith; and loving cousin, Louise Bullock.
