Bio
Sylenia Daniels of Winnsboro, Texas departed this life on November 9, 2023. She began her journey on September 18, 1949, in Winnsboro to the late William Melvin Waldrop, Sr., and Marie (Weems) Waldrop. Sylenia was a woman who didn't shy away from hard work. Holding several jobs at one time, Sylenia never let the dust settle on her shoes. Her hard work and determination were an inspiration to many that knew her. She graduated from Texas City High School in 1969. Mrs. Daniels had come back to Winnsboro to make it her home for the past 37 years. Sylenia worked up until recently at Kellers Creamery. She was a Coca Cola fanatic who enjoyed decorating her home with all things Coca Cola. Sylenia certainly helped the company with her purchases of beverages and memorabilia. Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her parents; husband Travis Daniels; brother Rickie Glenn Waldrop; and sister Linda Lorfing. Sylenia is survived by her daughter Sylenia Infante; brother William Waldrop, Jr.; and will always remain Memaw to her four grandchildren Robert Ray, Samantha Nichole, Ruben Eric, Jr., and Ricky Reighn. She is also survived by her two little Yorkies Peggy Sue and Nei Ner.
