BEVERELY HUNT COE, Athens, TX, went to her Heavenly home on November 1, 2023, after a lengthy illness. She was born September 4, 1948, in Terrell, TX, to Garth and Juanita Hunt. She attended Irving public schools and graduated from Irving High School. Beverley was a devoted wife and mother. She lived to take care of her family. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as MeMaw and Nana. She was a huge Texas Rangers fan and it only seemed fitting for them to win the World Series on the day that she made her journey to Heaven. Preceding her in death in 2012 was her husband of 40 years, Joseph Bryan Coe, her parents: Garth and Juanita Hunt and her grandson Nicholas Joseph Coe. Survivors include daughters: Stacy Denise McGowen and husband James of Athens and Toni Ann Owens of Athens, grandchildren: Cody Carson, Zachary Carson, Taylor Carson, Sydney Owens, Alicia McGowen, Chelsea McGowen, Ivy McGowen and Jacob McGowen, 8 great grandchildren, brother: David Hunt and wife Sharon, sister: Cheryl Wasson and husband Johnny and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers are Cody Carson, Zachary Carson, Taylor Carson, Sydney Owens and Jacob McGowen. Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2023, from 5-7pm at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens. Services are 10am Saturday, November4, 2023 at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Private burial will follow at a later date at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, TX.
