Bio

Mrs. Mary Pitman, Cohay LAUREL, Miss., Oct. 30. — Mary Pitman, 38, of Cohay, died Tuesday at the Laurel General hospital, following an illness of one week. She was brought to the hospital Monday. The deceased is survived by her husband, J.W. Pitman, six daughters, Ruby, Willie Mae, Winnie, Clara, Louise and Helen, and two sons, Bobby and Johnie. The body was prepared for burial and sent to Taylorsville Wednesday afternoon. The Birmingham News ( Birmingham, Alabama), Friday, 30 October 1925, page 43, columns 3-4.
