Bio
Lucille E. (Saltzman-maiden) Rogers (widowed) Talbert (widowed) passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015. Lucille was born in Quincy, CA on November 19, 1917 and was 98 years young. Lucille Rogers Talbert worked for and retired from Rose Hills Mortuary after 21 years of service. She began in the Sales Department and after a couple of years moved into the office as secretary for the At-Need Department. She will be remembered for her smile, laughter, and her ability to laugh at herself when she did something silly. She was a strong Christian woman and her strength came from God. Proverbs 31. Her goal was to live to be 104 but in later years she was happy to have lived as long as she had and still be able to get around. Lucille passed away, out-living her sister, mother, father, aunts, uncles and cousins and many of her friends from both the Whittier area and San Diego where she had lived since 1989.
