Bio

Bartley Burke Westbrook was killed in Marsden, Oklahoma on August 6, 1898 at the age of 44. He was in some kind of dispute with a family who ganged up on Bartley and stabbed him and hit him in the head with a bar of iron. There were multiple witnesses and a father and 3 sons were arrested and charged with murder. Of the four, two were convicted of manslaughter and got 1-year in Leavenworth.
