Bio
Dodie Dorsett Griffith was born December 29, 1929 and went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 12, 2023, at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her father, Judge Richard Scott Dorsett and mother, Mary Lee Dorsett. Dodie was the last living of their 9 children. Dodie leaves behind her husband of 67 years Tommy Griffith; son Scott; daughter-in-law Holly; granddaughter Savanna; grandson-in-law Saif; and great-granddaughters Vivian and Olivia. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a beloved Aunt, and was adored and cherished by the many who simply called her "grandmother". Dodie was a gifted gospel musician that blessed thousands with her voice over the decades. She was an integral part of the Griffith Law Firm, serving their clients and community. She leaves a legacy of love and kindness, having never spoken ill of anyone. She was a student and teacher of the scripture and modeled Jesus' servant leadership in all that she said and did up until her last words on earth— "I'll miss you, but I will see you again and be waiting for you when you get there."
