Clarence Ronald "Ron" Coleman, 75, of Gilmer, was born September 28, 1948, to Crawford Thomas and Alta Francis Myers Coleman, in Longview, Texas. He passed from this life on October 8, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. Ron worked for many years in the construction and heavy equipment industry before his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and watching football. Ron loved spending time with family and cooking for everyone. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna Coleman; son, Todd Coleman; daughter, Angie Coleman; grandchildren, Kristen Warnick, Jonathan Crabtree, Haley Bevis, Colin Efurd, and Riley Coleman; greatgrandchildren, Addyson, Jonah, Savanna, Wyatt, Noah, Cathy, Audrey, Jase, Tate, and Blaine; his special friend, Steve Nelson; and his siblings, Tommy Coleman, Eddie Coleman, Gay Wagner, and Danny Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Crawford Thomas Coleman and Alta Francis Raines. A private family celebration of life will be held for Ron at a later date.
