⌦ This contributor has been unable to locate actual place of burial, so anyone knowing this data, please advise. ⌫ { Obituary - Published by GoSanAngelo, San Angelo, Texas from April 26 to April 28, 2010 } SAN ANGELO - Clay Emil Holik, 49, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010. He was born on June 26, 1960, to Wanda and Walter Emil Holik Sr. in Miles, Texas. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010,at Johnson's Funeral Home chapel with James Adams officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Clay graduated as valedictorian of Miles High School in 1978. Immediately after graduation, he went to work at Porter Henderson Implement in San Angelo. He began as a mechanic and eventually moved to the Parts Department. He was well known as the "go-to" person for local farmers when they needed any parts or advice for their equipment. He married Toni McClain on Dec. 31, 1984. Their first son Clint was born in 1992, and daughter Charly followed in 1996. Second son Cliff was born in 1999 and third son Chad in 2000. Clay was a devoted father and husband. He always put his children's needs before his own. Clay was also a very loving dad, he was always willing to help them in any way they needed. Clay was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Kenneth McClain and his brother-in-law, Robert Wells. He is survived by his wife, Toni; son Clint, 17, daughter Charly, 14, son Cliff, 10, and son Chad, 9, all of Miles, Texas; parents Walter and Wanda Holik of Miles, Texas; brother Walter and wife Hariece of Wall, Texas; brother Fraron Holik of Eldorado, Texas; sister Kathy Wells of Ballinger, Texas; brother Danny and wife Darlene Holik of Miles, Texas; mother-in-law Betty McClain of San Angelo; brothers-in-law Chip McClain and wife Theresa and Stoddard McClain and wife Johnna, all of San Angelo; and sister in-law Debbye Watson of San Angelo.
