Rickie Elton Shreves, Sr. age 68, of Lima passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 29, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Clyde Shreves and Betty(Byram) Shreves. His father survives in Texas and he is preceded in death by his mother. His is married to Barbara Johnson. His children are Elton(Shannon) Shreves, Rickie Shreves, Jr., and Jeannie(Kurt) Bishop. His is also survived by three brothers; Ronnie(June) Shreves, Danny and Willie Shreves, two sisters; Marilyn(Mike) Kitts and Malinda(Richard) Howell, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Rickie is preceded in death by his daughter Alison Tucker. Rickie served in the United States Air Force, He retired from McBride brothers after more than 20 years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and SciFi movies. He loved his family most of all. He was a very loving father and grandfather. A visitation for Rickie will begin at 11:00 Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. His Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home, Rev. Steven Haddix officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Delphos Veterans Council. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
