Birth and death information from the California Death Index which indicates that mother's maiden name was McPheeters and father's name was Coverdell. Information from Ancestry indicates that she was the daughter of William Benjamin Coverdell and Ida Frances McPheeters. She married Roy Jennings June 18, 1921. Obituary Redlands Daily Facts: Jennings - March 22, 1985, Redlands, Edna F. Jennings, 84, native of Grant City, MO, 13 year Redlands resident and former 25 year Whittier resident. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was active in missionary work and Bible study at the church. She also was a member of AARP No. 181 of Redlands.Jennings worked in a defense plant during World War II and had been employed in retail and institutional food service at the Eastern Columbia company in Los Angeles and Montebello school district. Survivors include two sons, William Jennings of Spring Valley and LeRoy M. Jennings of Santa Ana; one daughter, Frances Leach of Redlands, one sister, Gail F. Coverdell of Redlands, eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
