Chico Enterprise-Record, Wednesday, February 25, 1959: "Henry F. Overt [sic]. Oroville (E-R) -- Funeral services are pending at the Christian Service Society in Chico for Henry Francis Overt [sic], 85, of 1163 East Ninth Street, Chico, who died yesterday at the Butte County Hospital here. Mr. Overt [sic], a native of Wisconsin is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Delma Siria, of the same address." *Chico Enterprise-Record, Thursday, February 26, 1959: "Henry F. Obert. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Christian Service Society Cemetery on the old Oroville Road for Henry Francis Obert, 87-year-old Chicoan who died Tuesday at Butte County Hospital. Mr. Obert, a retired carpenter and farmer, had resided here since 1925. He lived at 1163 East Ninth Street, and was a native of Wisconsin. Among his survivors are the following children: Mrs. Lucille Soritelli and Virgil Obert, both of Menlo Park, Zelma Siria, of Chico, Mrs. Harriet Thomas, of Eureka, Earl Obert of East Palo Alto, and Dorine Walton, of Los Angeles; two sisters, Edith Anderson, of Hanford, and Arvilla Obert, of Kingburg [Kingsburg, Ed.]; a brother, Winthrop, of Merced, 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren."
