Patricia Wood June 16, 1936 - September 19, 2023 PATRICIA'S OBITUARY Patricia Tootle-Wood was born Tuesday, June 16, 1936 at Sloan Chapel, Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Charles and Fannie (Cox) Tootle. She left this earth on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1955 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She married her husband of 62 years, Joseph Wilburn Wood on October 15, 1955. During their marriage they had two children, Johanna Wood Miller and Stevanna Wood Winningham, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had three grandchildren, Jason Hurt (Kari), Joseph Winningham, and Nikki Patterson (Daniel); and five great grandchildren, Briley Hurt, Faith Hurt, Maci Winningham, Daizy Winningham, and Laila Patterson. Survivors also include, two sisters, Juanita Alexander of Bakersfield, California and Sadie Jackson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews and close friends. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; one sister, Cleo Tootle; and five brothers, Aaron, Sammy, Dobbin, Arvil, and Governor. Patricia's hobbies included bowling, fishing, camping, golfing, painting, traveling (Every state but Alaska), board games, and cards. Most of all she loved being her children and grandchildren's number one cheerleader at all of their activities. No matter what the circumstances were, she was always there. There was nothing more important to her than her family and her relationship with God. Graveside service 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Brent Cemetery. Pastor Steve Redfearn officiating.
