On Tuesday, September 21, 2021, Jacqueline Claire (Conery) O'Brien passed away at age 86. Jackie was born on February 17, 1935 in Providence, Rhode Island to George and Lauretta (Sevigny) Conery. She graduated from Saugus High School in Saugus, MA. After graduating high school, she married Bradley A. Upton. They made their home in Lynn, MA and from that marriage had 5 children; Bradley A. Upton Jr., Todd Upton, Beth Upton, Glenn Upton and Matthew Upton. Jackie later married Vernon Robert O'Brien and from that marriage, son, Michael O'Brien. Jackie was an experienced stock broker until her retirement. She later worked part-time in retail at GNC and JC Penney's. Jackie spent her childhood and early adult years in the Lynn, MA area before moving to California and then eventually Oklahoma. She continued to have her accent despite living in Ardmore, OK for the past 17 years. She was a very independent woman and enjoyed her time reading books and volunteering at Cross Timbers Hospice until her health deteriorated. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lauretta Conery; spouse, William Gentry; children, Bradley A Upton Jr and Matthew Upton; brother Danny Conery. She is survived by her children: Todd Upton, Burleson, TX; Beth Upton, Imperial Beach, CA ;Glenn Upton and wife Joy, Lynn, MA; Michael O'Brien and wife Toni, Dickson, OK and daughter-in- law, Pam Upton, Wilmington, MA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren: Jonathan Upton, Cranston, RI; Amy Upton, Wilmington, MA; Kelley Upton, Ft. Worth, TX; Debby Upton, Waco, TX; Michael Grace, San Diego, CA; Simone Upton, Lynn, MA; Cyrena Upton, Lynn, MA; Kennith Cardwell, Imperial Beach, CA; Tonya Cardwell, Blacksburg, NC; Jonathan O'Brien, Minneapolis, MN; Brittney O'Brien, Norman, OK; Clayton Williams, Ardmore, OK; Casey O'Brien, Dickson, OK and Kelly O'Brien, Dickson, OK. In addition to 16 grandchildren she is survived by several great-grandchildren. Jackie also leaves behind two sisters, Joan Russell, Peabody, MA and Barbara Witworth, Atlanta, GA along with numerous nieces and nephews. At this time, no services are scheduled.
