Joel Leon Reeves October 10, 1932 — September 6, 2023 Reeves, Joel Leon passed into the presence of His Lord, Jesus Christ, at the age of 90 years old on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. He was born October 10, 1932 in Wayne County, TN. He was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville, TN for many years and a member of First Baptist Church Calhoun, TN since 2012. He will lovingly be remembered by his family, special friends, and the people whose lives he touched at TerraBella Athens. The family wants to thank everyone who helped us during the past several years as Leon battled dementia. Special thanks to TerraBella Athens and Hearth Hospice of Cleveland for the loving care you have given and for walking unwaveringly with us to the end. Visitation will be at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte Avenue in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00am (Central time) with Celebration of Life service at 11:30 and burial to follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
