OBITUARY Muriel Ewer JANUARY 3, 1932 – JULY 26, 2020 Muriel J. Ewer, 88, passed away on July 26th, 2020 in her home in Tucson, Arizona. Muriel is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Leon C. Ewer, two of her children Stephen and Vincent, two grandchildren Robert and Vincent II and siblings Dorothy, Carl and Kenneth. She is survived by her seven children, Roger, David, Gregory, Suzanne, Ronald, Thomas and Theresa. As well as 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and siblings Duane, Charles, Ralph, Delores and Leroy. Muriel was born in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota to the late Carl & Maude Hurtig, and later adopted by the late Orrin Koelln. Muriel worked in the medical field for most of her life. She was a medical clerk and home health clerk, working for St. Joseph's Hospital, University Medical Center and Carondelet Home Health. Muriel's biggest passion was the Tucson Poultry, Pigeon and Fancy Fowl Club which she was the secretary for over 30 years and also a past president of the club. She always looked forward to the annual November show that the club put on. She made the 49th annual show last year. She loved to quilt and for many years made a quilt for the benefit raffle at the show. She enjoyed reading, bowling, belly dancing and loved having family get togethers. She will be missed by her family and friends. A celebration of life will be held in the future. Funeraria del Angel South Lawn & South Lawn Cemetery Tuscon, AZ
