Henry Perry, Miss Jackson Wed at Home Miss Leslie Muriel Jackson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Jackson, became the bride of Henry D. Perry, son of Henry W. Perry of Carrollton, Tuesday evening in the garden of her parents' home 1224 Claude. The ceremony was read by the Rev. Henry Kinkade of Carrollton. Mr. Jackson gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a satin dress of pale green. It was ballerina length and with it she wore elbow length gloves of the same shade. Her headdress was a matching satin with pearls on pale-green net and her other accessories were black. She carried a bouquet of orchids backed by white plumes and showered with satin streamers tied with French Mums. Mrs. Amos Shafer was matron of honor and maid of honor was Miss Jo James. Mrs. Vernon Pelon and Mrs. Jon J. Casale were bridesmaids. Mr. Perry was attended by Charles Chastain as best man and Mr. Casale, Mr. Shafer and W. M. Wilson as groomsmen. Mrs. Viola Miller, accordionist, accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Mary Caldwell. A reception was held after the ceremony. Mrs. L. R. Scott presided at the cake and Mrs. L. W. Jackson poured punch. Mrs. Perry attended W. H. Adamson High School and Mr. Perry is a graduate of Carrollton High School. The couple left for a wedding trip to Carland N, M. and Mexico. The bride's going-away costume was a continental-green gabardine suit with back accessories and a white orchid corsage. The bride and bridegroom will make their home in Carrollton.
