Bio

P. R. Jewell, aged 68, passed quietly away at his residence, corner of Ransom and Church streets, at 4 o’clock Saturday morning. He leaves a wife and three children. Mrs. Ida Root, Mrs. Stacia Boardman and John Jewell, all of Kalamazoo. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. George Crisp of Pittsburg, Pa., and Mis. Katherine McElwain of New Vernon. Pa., and Mrs. Harriet Nelson of Ohio; also two brothers, Terry Jewell of Gobleville and George Jewell of Colon. These relatives are expected to attend the funeral which will be held Sunday at the residence, at 3:30 p. m. Burial at Riverside.
