Bio

Son of Rosa Smith Wilson. Virgil was a Chief Petty Officer who retired from the U. S. Navy and served in World War II, where he received a Purple Heart and he also served in Korea. He worked at a civil service job and retired from that as well. He was owner of Wilson Inspection X-Ray Service in the oil field industry. He was survived by his wife, Bertha Mae Wilson and two sons. Interment at Seaside Memorial Park. (Corpus Christi Caller-Times, Texas, March 08, 1995)
