Married James Edwin Cooper November 29, 1979 in Baylor County, Texas Sue Cooper, 81 of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 in Seymour. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Round Timber Cemetery with Dr. David Warren officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home. Sue was born on February 6, 1942 in Seymour to J.B. and Blanche Howard Guthrie. She attended Seymour schools and worked for Dr. Nacol and in the Medical Records at the Seymour Hospital. She also helped her husbands in their work. She married Ernest Hrncirik and later, James Cooper, both preceding her in death. Sue was also preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Blanche Guthrie; a brother, John Guthrie; a sister, Billie Snyder and a grandson, Curt Redden. She is survived by a son, Danny and Freddie Hrncirik of Seymour; a daughter, Melody Hrncirik of Seymour; 5 grandchildren, Hunter, Logan, Myles, Cody and Jamie and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Round Timber Cemetery Association, the First Baptist Church of Seymour or the First Methodist Church of Seymour. Archer Funeral Home Seymour, Texas
