Sharlene Alice Cernohous, age 84, of River Falls passed away on July 24, 2023 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Sharlene was the daughter of Robert and Mary "Grace" (Holmquist) Ray, she was born on April 14, 1939 in rural Pierce County. Sharlene attended River Falls High School graduating with the class of 1952. On July 27, 1957 Sharlene married the love of her life, Donald Francis Cernohous in River Falls, WI. Their union blessed them with five children, Roberta, Duane, Dennis, Rebecca, and Rachel. Sharlene was a loving woman; she was very proud of her family and loved them fiercely. She enjoyed spending time with them, baking sweet treats for her grandchildren, and being a caretaker for many years. When Sharlene wasn't tending to her family, she usually was deep in a book as reading was a passion of hers. Tending to her gardens, enjoying the hummingbirds, and admiring the butterflies. In her later years she enjoyed taking long naps and going out to eat with her family.
