Lola Jean Dostal, 77, of Whiteson, OR, born to Jess and Ethel Moore in Norfolk, NE, passed away on July 20, 2012 in McMinnville, OR with family by her side. Lola started elementary school in Sutherlin, then Roseburg, Forest Grove, Briedwell and finally graduating at Amity High School in 1954. She married Frances Bacon on August 24, 1953, and they had 6 children. They divorced in 1969. She remarried in 1971 to Joseph Dostal and was widowed in 1994. Lola loved her garden and she canned all the vegetables that she grew and anything else that she had available. Lola also loved to decorate cakes, quilting and ceramics were among many of her hobbies. Surviving Lola is her brother Glenn Moore of Sheridan, daughter Debra Barber of Whiteson; son Dale Bacon of Carlton; daughter Teresa Davis of Prescott, AZ, daughter Phyllis Butler of Amity; son Kent Bacon of Whiteson, son Jeff Bacon of Whiteson and 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Wilbert Moore, 2 siblings and a granddaughter, Rebecca.
