Bio
Anna Marie Holsan, age 79, passed away peacefully from this life into the arms of God Sunday, October 23rd, 2022, at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. She was born September 4th 1943 in Jerome, Idaho. Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Anna & Stanley; sisters, Barbara & Carol; and her daughter, Deborah. She is survived by her devout husband of 60 years, John; her children, Theresa (John) and John Jr; brother, Stanley "Bud" Karel; grandchildren: Kristopher, Stanley (Chelsea), Jessica (Brian), Brandon, Chelsea, Nicholas (Ashley) and Hunter; and great-grandchildren: Quinton and Matthew. Anna Marie had a servant's heart. She enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking, and serving her church and community. She was a warm and generous person. A steady and loyal friend and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity has touched more lives than she ever realized. She will be missed by so many that loved her dearly. There will be a Vigil, 4 pm, Wednesday, November 9th at St Michael's Catholic Church in Canon City. A memorial service will be 1 pm, Thursday, November 10th at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church in Kiowa.
