Bio

Constable D. F. (Dempsy) Henry passed away at the family home on N. Prairieville Street Thursday morning at 7:30, following an illness of several months. Mr. Henry was 67 years of age and spent most of his life in Henderson County and was among its most generally known citizens by reason of the fact that for many years he was closely identified with political activities of the county. Mr. Henry served hid county as Tax Assessor from 1912 to 1916 and had also served as deputy sheriff. He had served a previous term as constable from 1898 to 1902. Survivoring Mr. Henry are his wife and their daughhter, Miss Jim, to whom the Review extends the deepest sympathy.
