Bio

Doris M Adams, 88 of Springfield passed away Sunday Feb. 3, 2008, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. She was born Dec. 15, 1919 in Loami. She married Carlo "Shorty" Genovese, he preceded her in death. She later married Dale Adams, who preceded her in death. A daughter Audrey Osburn, also preceded her in death. Mrs Adams previously was employed as a nurse's aide at St John's Hospital, a waitress at Gabatoni's, The Georgian and Lum's Restaurant, and as a respite care provider for Sparc. She is survived by a son, Walter Genovese (campanion, Angela Bristow) of Divernon; a daughter, Clara (husband Ron) Hageman of Springfield: eight grandchilldren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Private family will be held. She was the daughter of Walter Sidney Lynn Sr. & Clara Dell Hewitt.
