Don Wayne Cruse Sr., 70, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008, in Arlington. A celebration of life will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake Arlington Baptist Church with Dr. David George officiating. Graveside services will be 12 p.m. Saturday at Mansfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington. Don was born in Waco, Texas, to the lte Ernest O. and Mary (Kolinek) Cruse. He was a graduate of Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in 1961. He was an active member of Lake Arlington Baptist Church for three decades. Don was fun-loving and joking. He loved talking to people, singing, and playing music. He also enjoyed running his own small businesses. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Betty Cruse; sons, Don Cruse, Jr., and Jon Cruse and wife, Kristina; sister, Patricia Cruse Waggoner; nephew, Aaron Waggoner and wife, Lisa; great-nephew, Harrison Waggoner; great-niece, Gretchen Waggoner; and numerous loved relatives and family friends.
