Bio

When Arvil McKeown was born on November 8, 1918, in Hopkins, Texas, his father, Junious, was 29 and his mother, Bertha, was 26. He married Verna L Houston on September 28, 1940, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He had one son with Verna Houston McKeown in 1946. He was a World War 2 Veteran as a waist gunner on his plane. After his military service, he had a dairy business, first in Paris, Texas, then down the road to Blossom, Texas. His cows were named after relatives. He retired and moved back to Sulphur Springs, Texas. He died on January 11, 2000 in Sulphur Springs, Texas,, at age 81 of Cancer.
