Weimar (Texas), Thurs 15 Apr 2010, p. 2. Harvey Cooper Private Rites Planned. Harvey S. Cooper, 97, of Weimar passed away on Thursday, April 8. Harvey was born July 5, 1012, to W.S. and Mary Baca Cooper four miles southwest of Columbus. He married Cleo Clara Barton in 1948 in Weimar. Harvey worked until retirement with the Rail Road. He was a member of the 925th Infantry. His wife, and one son, John Joe Cooper of Dallas (21 Sep 1950-) Survive Harvey. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gerald Cooper. Private services are to be held at a later date.
