Bio

Anton Frank Pospisil, age 77, of Kempner, Texas passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. Services are 11 am Wednesday, July 19 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Visitation will begin at 9 am prior to the service. Burial with full military honors will be held at 2 pm in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Anton Frank was born August 15, 1945 in Wharton, Texas to Joseph Louis and Georgie Josie (Cernoch) Pospisil. Tony was drafted in the US Army in 1965 and served until 1995. He worked in the aviation branch and retired as a Sergeant Major after 30 years of service. His duty locations included at many stateside bases and in overseas bases to include Vietnam, Panama, Germany, and Korea. He loved riding horses and was active in the Copperas Cove Saddle Club / Cen-Tex Saddle Club having served as President for many years. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mark Alan Pospisil on Sept 27, 2003 at the age of 33 and a sister, Georgia. He is survived by three daughters, Sondra Deneice (Rick) Dillard, Shannon May Stone, Brandy Elaine Hand, Grandchildren; SSG Dwaine Dillard (Perla) Kayla Caylor (Troy), Shelby Griffith (Preston), Steven Glenn Stone, Sarah Megan Stone, Stacy Renee Stone, Marcus Pospisil, Candice Pospisil Wallace and Cody Pospisil, Alissa Sherrie Guthrie and Joshua Anthony Lee Owens. Great grandchildren; Romario, Sadie, Franklin, Cora, Audrey, James and Reagan, Addilyn Stone, Jaxx Stone, Waylon Stone, Kendall Stone, Julian Stone, Lillian Elaine Guthrie, Iris Pasley Dawn Guthrie and Karter Nate Owens.
