Bio
SUZANNE LEE GARTEN, 68 of Englewood, died April 20th, 2015. She was born on May 19th, 1946 in Lincoln, Nebraska and came to the Englewood area in 2002 from Milford, MI. In her professional life she was a nurse and a childcare provider. Over many years as a foster mother she cared for nearly 50 infants in their journey from birth until adoption. She was an active member of the Englewood United Methodist Church and found a loving community there. She was wife to Lance and sister to Tom Wills and Denise Tyler. She is also survived by her two sons, Sean Kane of Fenton, MI and Eric Kane of Philadelphia, PA; as well as her daughter Angelyn Garten-Dugger of Jacksonville, FL and four grandchildren in Michigan.
