Graveside service for Wanda Nell Parker, age 91 of Van Alstyne, Texas will be held at 11:00A.M. on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Ridgeway Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Parker passed away on June 29, 2023 at T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center. Wanda was born on January 23, 1932 in Hunt County, Texas to Charles James and Lucille (Booher) Miller. She married Joe Young Parker on April 15, 1949 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Wanda worked as a line leader at Fisher Controls in McKinney for over 28 years. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Turner; grandchildren, Country Reyes and husband Steven of Farmersville, Holly Ragsdale and husband, Nathan of Melissa; great grandchildren, Cody Turner, Brian Reyes, Allie Reyes, Charlie Ragsdale and Ella Ragsdale; great-great grandchildren, Mia Ross, Ryan Turner, Lucas Turner, Easton Turner, Ava Reyes and Eve Reyes; nieces, Theresa Owen and Linda Edwards. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Opal Watson.
