Russell Milton Thomas, age 87, of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Russell went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 21, 2023. He was born on August 2, 1935, to Edgar and Virginia Thomas in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from the University of Corpus Christi. Russell met and married Donna LaRue Ashley on August 17, 1957. They had four children, Michael, Mark, Todd, and Kim. Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, his parents, and siblings. He is survived by his children Michael and his wife, Leslie Powell, of Austin, TX; Mark and Page Thomas of Haltom City, TX; Todd and Michele Thomas of Little Elm, TX; and Kim and Lindy Thomas of Fort Worth, TX; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 9 am- 10am at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, located at 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, Texas 76051. A funeral service will follow on June 28, 2023, at 10 am, also at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, located at 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, Texas 76051.
