Charles David Mitchell, 77, of Cherryvale, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023, in Coffeyville, Kansas. Charles David Mitchell was born June 26, 1945, in Independence, Kansas, the son of Willard Mitchell and Ruby (Plotner) Mitchell. On October 4, 1969, in Parsons, Kansas he married Joyce Lynda Christine Ballew, and she preceded him in death on February 16, 2012. Charles enjoyed fishing, riding around out in the country, and driving through old cemeteries. He was a member of Hazeldell Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include his siblings Kenneth Mitchell of Coffeyville, Kansas, Frank (Debbie) Mitchell of Coffeyville, Kansas, Dorothy (Darrell) Mallow of Cherryvale, Kansas, several nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life Graveside Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, June 9, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.
