Barry, 69 of Weston, NE entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at her home. She was born October 8, 1953 in North Bend, NE to Rudolph and Agnes (Chromy) Sloup. She graduated from Prague High School in 1971 and attended Lincoln School of Commerce. She was united in marriage to Neal Barry on December 28, 1978 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo. Karen worked for Reliable Services and Dr. Brent Geringer in Wahoo for many years. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where she was a member of the PCCW and helped with cooking sauerkraut at the bazaar. Karen enjoyed growing flowers and baking kolaches. She loved her pet cats and especially loved spending time with her family. Karen is survived by her husband of 44 years, Neal Barry; children, Nicholas (Amy) Barry, David (Katie) Barry; grandchildren, Dexter and Rachel Barry; siblings, Agnes (Don) Kasper, Harvey (Loretta) Sloup; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Agnes Sloup; brother and sister-in-law, Rudy and Helen Sloup.
