Bio

Henry Cockerham, 85, native of Winn Parish and long time resident of Waxahachie, Texas, succumbed in Texas late Monday. Funeral services were held in Waxahachie Wednesday. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Cockerham is survived by his wife, Mrs. Viola Camp Cockerham of Waxahachie; one daughter, eight sons, 47 grandchildren, and 63 great grandchildren. He also left three brothers, Manuel Cockerham of Calvin, Clarence of Winnsboro, and Joe of Waxahachie. Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Chester and Albert Camp, nephews, and Mrs. W. C. Johns and Mrs. John Barrett, nieces, of the deceased.
