Graveside services for Raymond Frank Mohel, 76, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Born Nov. 15, 1931, in Sinton, Texas, to Frank and Minnie Neitek Mohel, he died March 20, 2008, in Oklahoma City. He married Connie Littleton Dec. 23, 1966, in Silberton, Texas. She preceded him in death July 30, 1993. He was also preceded in death by his parents. During the Korean War, Raymond serviced in the U.S. Army. He had worked for Auto Electric in Ardmore for more than 18 years. He was a kind and generous man, often taking his friends and neighbors to their jobs or the grocery store when they were without transportation. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include a son, Bob Barnes; five grandchildren, Danielle Tomek, Bobby Barnes, Brittany Barnes, Randi Barnes and Rachel Barnes; and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Evans and Myrtle North and her husband, J.D. The family will greet visitors at Griffin-Hillcrest Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.
