Betty Louise Glasscock May 19, 1939 - May 28, 2023 Betty Louise Glasscock was born May 19, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Andrew Jackson and Tommie Lela (Anderson) McFadden. She passed from this life on May 28, 2023 at her home in Lancaster, Texas. Betty married the love of her life, Willie Joe, on September 4, 1954. They would be celebrating an incredible 69 years together this year. They have been residents of Lancaster, TX for 60 of those years. Not only did Betty love Willie, but she also loved singing and praising the Lord. She loved making people laugh and spending time with family and friends. Betty was mother to many and will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth J. Glasscock; her son-in-law, Billy Thomas; her grandson, Jason Thomas; her granddaughter-in-law, Tina McLemee; as well as her parents. Betty is survived by her beloved husband, Willie Joe Glasscock; her children, Billy Joe, Steve P., Tommy R., Connie L. McLemee, Linda K. Thomas, and Richard E. Glasscock; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pall Bearers: Billy Glasscock, Joshua Glasscock, John McLemee, Issac Fazio, Calip Purvis, Jonathan Turner, Eddie Orr, Wayne Cate The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with a celebration of Betty's life beginning at 12:00pm in the chapel. Interment will follow at Elm Branch Cemetery, Bardwell.
