Bio

Dovie moved north from her native Tennessee to Akron, Ohio with her husband, Grover, and children. Her husband came to the Akron area to find work in the rubber factories. She was a homemaker all her life, and a person whose family meant everything to her. She returned to Tennessee often to visit with family there.
