Published in the Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, July 29, 1948, Page 3, column 4 Funeral Services for LeRoy Foth Funeral services were held at the Evangelical church in Mira Valley Thursday afternoon at two o'clock for LeRoy Walter Foth, 39, who died after a lingering illness Monday, July 19. Rev. Gerald Fogelemen officiated and Hasting-Pearson mortuary had charge of the arrangements. Burial was in the Evangelical cemetery in Mira Valley. LeRoy Foth was born in Valley county Sept. 1, 1903. All of his life since childhood was spent in Mira Valley with his parents, the late Gust Foth and his mother, Mrs. Anna Foth who still lives on their farm near Ord. He was a Christian and was active in church work until his health failed. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother of Ord, five sisters, Mrs. Edna Biberdorf of Willow City, N.D., Mrs. Frieda De Young of Clay Center, Mrs. Bertha Stone of Scottsbluff, Mrs. Erma Smith and Mrs. Gertrude Smith of Peoria, Ill., and two brothers, Alvin Foth of West Plains, Mo., and Gust Foth Jr., of Ord.
