Published in the Arcadia Guide, Arcadia, Nebraska, Thursday, July 1, 1965, page 1, Column 3 Ralph Stone Rites Held in Local Church On Tuesday, June 22 Funeral services were held for Ralph David Stone, 61, at the Arcadia Congregational Church, Tuesday, June 22, 1965, at 2:00 pm. Mr. Stone died at Walla Walla, Washington. Interment was in Round Park cemetery east of Comstock. Graveside services were conducted by the Arcadia American Legion Post No. 251. Ralph David Stone, son of James H. and Geneva Lucille Clark Stone, was born near Comstock, February 28, 1904, and died at Walla Walla, Wash, June 18, 1965. He lived most of his life in the Arcadia and Comstock vicinities where he farmed. He served in World War II and since that time had lived near Walla Walla, Wash., where he was employed on a dairy farm. He was never married. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clayton Stone, and one sister, Opal Stone. Survivors are two brothers, Clifford Stone of Ord and Jess Stone of Los Angeles, California; four sisters, Mrs. Delila Nelson, Mrs. Ruth Evans, and Mrs. Twila Scott, all of Arcadia, and Mrs. Zelma Brandenburg of Bridger, Montana.
