Bio
Shari Highnote Smith formerly of Grapevine, TX, daughter of Janice and Lester Highnote, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2020. Shari fought liver cancer for over 5 years. Mrs. Smith, aka. Granny Smith was a friend to all and never met a stranger. She had a heart of gold and a playful child-like spirit. Shari was a devout Catholic and served as a eucharistic minister at her church for 16 years. Shari was preceded in death by her son Michael Wooldridge. Surviving family members include her husband, Collier Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Brandon Hatchel; daughter-in-law Annette Wooldridge, and stepchildren, Elissa and Tyler Smith. Shari has 5 grandchildren Brenda McCraney, Cortney Lucky, Taylor, Kaylie, and Jacob Hatchel. Shari's surviving siblings include her twin sister Maudelle Kennedy, sister Janette Doss, and brother Wayne Highnote.
