Marie Junek died 11 July 1959 at the Brenham Old Folks Home at the age of 74. She is survived by one son, Rudolph Junek of Snook; three daughters, Lydia Sontak of Houston, Milady Junek of Snook, Ella Vajdak of Houston; one sister Anna Danchak of Lyons.
