The Deseret News Thursday, December 31, 1992 BENNION-Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, William Harry Mellonie, age 71, passed away December 29, 1992, in Murray, Utah. Born October 28, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Percival William and Martha Newbold Mellonie. Married Beth Bateman March 4, 1942 in Salt Lake City; solemnized June 12, 1992 in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Bill could always be counted on to lend a helping hand.Survived by: Wife, Bennion; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Kathy) Longson and Jolene Mellonie, both of Sandy; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon, at the Bennion Heights 3rd Ward, 5775 South 2700 West, where friends may call from 10 to 11:40 a.m. prior to service. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
