Johann's first wife was named Agneta (maiden name unknown). She was born circa 1791 and died April 30,1836 likely in Weigersdorf. Johann and Agneta had a son named Andreas Mickan, born circa 1830. Andreas could not come to the US when his step mother immigrated because he was of military age. Johann and Magdalena Prochno were married in Groeditz, Germany January 22, 1837.
