Son of Emmell "Emil" Christ and Antonia E. "Tony" (Janisch) Christ. First wife, Agnes Rainnie Frederick, of Houston, Texas, married in 1933 in Liberty County, Texas. Divorced: after 1945 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. Ed and Agnes were the parents of one daughter, Peggy Gene Christ, who died in infancy, and one son, Raymond Joseph Christ, who survived them. Second wife was, Jessie Carr. Married about 1950 in Houston, Texas. (The children of Raymond & Joann (Jones) Christ, called her "Mama" Jessie).
